The erasure of a city’s memory is to abandon its old homes to ruin. It matters not who once owned each house; the more the city empties of them, the closer it draws to its own grave.

تخریب حافظه ی یک شهر یعنی به حال خود گذاشتن خانه های گذشته برای ویران شدن.مهم نیست این یا آن خانه مال کیست؟ هرچه شهر ازآن خانه ها خالی تر شود به فراموشخانه نزدیک تر می شود.
